“Carice of Pinnacle Affairs was such a pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond on our wedding day to assure the day ran smoothly and was stress free. I had the upmost confidence in working with her after our consultation and every meeting we held leading up to our big day. My bridal party and mother raved about her as well, which just shows she made sure we were all taken care of!” — Jazmin

FAQ

When should we book a planner?

We recommend booking a planner as early as possible — especially if you're looking for full planning or design support. Most couples book us 9–12 months out, but we also take on weddings with shorter timelines depending on availability.

Do you work with all budgets?

We typically work with couples who have a minimum wedding budget of $30,000. This allows us to design and execute an experience that aligns with your vision while partnering with quality vendors who share our standards.

What’s the difference between Event Management and Full Planning?

Event Management starts about 60–90 days before your wedding and focuses on execution. Full Planning is more hands-on from the beginning and includes everything from vendor sourcing to design and logistics. We’ll help you figure out what’s best based on where you are in the process.

Does pinnacle affairs travel for weddings?

Yes! While we have team members based in both Virginia and North Carolina, we love working throughout the region and beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location and scope of the event, and we’ll walk you through all the details during your consultation.

Can I customize a package to fit my needs?

Absolutely. While our packages are designed to cover the most common planning needs, we know no two weddings are the same. During your consultation, we’ll talk through where you are in the process and tailor support that fits your vision and timeline.

What happens if my venue provides a coordinator? Do I still need a planner?

Venue coordinators are a great asset, but their focus is typically on the venue itself — not on you, your vendors, or your overall vision. As your planner, we manage the full scope: timelines, design, vendor communication, logistics, and making sure every detail comes together smoothly. We work with your venue coordinator, not in place of them.
