Her professional background spans planning, sales, and on-site execution, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how events function behind the scenes and in real time.
Throughout her career, Carice has built a reputation for her calm presence, strong organizational skills, and thoughtful approach to planning. She is known for leading events with clarity and intention, anticipating challenges before they arise, and ensuring that logistics, timelines, and communication remain aligned throughout the planning process.
At Pinnacle Affairs, Carice oversees planning strategy, client experience, and event execution, setting the standard for how events are managed and delivered. Her leadership emphasizes preparation, collaboration, and consistency, allowing both clients and the planning team to move through each event with confidence and ease.
Carrie Wilson
Associate Planner
Carrie brings over 21 years of experience in education, mentorship, and team leadership to Pinnacle Affairs. Her professional background is rooted in developing people, creating structure, and fostering environments where teams can operate with confidence and purpose.
Throughout her career, Carrie has served as a science educator, mentor, and school leader, including leadership roles as a Summer Academy Coordinator and Student Mentor Coordinator. She was recognized as Henrico County Public Schools Henrico Heroes Mentor Coordinator of the Year in 2023, an honor that reflects her commitment to relationship-driven leadership and thoughtful communication.
At Pinnacle Affairs, Carrie plays a key role in supporting team operations, guiding execution on wedding days, and ensuring consistent standards across events. Her steady presence, attention to detail, and people-first approach help create an organized and supportive environment for both clients and the planning team.

SENIOR PLANNER
Nataya McGhee brings years of hospitality experience and a dynamic, adaptable approach to every event she supports. Her journey began at age fifteen and has since included work across multiple hospitality departments, allowing her to develop a strong foundation in guest experience, execution, and teamwork.Known for her energy, creativity, and calm flexibility, Nataya plays a key role in keeping wedding days moving smoothly while maintaining a positive and welcoming presence. She is especially drawn to the moments that signal the start of the celebration, when anticipation and excitement fill the room.
Outside of events, Nataya enjoys painting, exploring new food experiences, discovering scenic city views, and traveling.

Layne Harding
SENIOR PLANNER
Layne Harding is a Richmond, Virginia native with a background in Public Relations and Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her introduction to wedding coordination began unexpectedly, stepping into a day-of coordinator role that quickly sparked her passion for event execution and collaboration.
Layne thrives on transforming ideas into thoughtfully executed celebrations and values the behind-the-scenes teamwork that brings an event together. She finds the greatest joy in watching families connect throughout the celebration, especially once everyone reaches the dance floor.
Outside of weddings, Layne enjoys writing, traveling, caring for her growing collection of plants, and spending time with her cat.

SENIOR PLANNER
Chayele Pullen supports wedding day coordination with focus, creativity, and a people-first mindset. With experience in customer-facing roles and family event coordination, she brings strong communication skills and thoughtful execution to each event.
Her background in the performing arts, including years of formal dance training, contributes to her precision, awareness, and ability to perform confidently in fast-paced environments. Chayele is also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Human Rights, with a long-term interest in advocacy and inclusivity.
Outside of weddings, she remains deeply connected to dance and creative expression.
